  • Responsible for outcomes and reporting to the Innovation Board

  • Independent and ongoing evaluation of all ongoing Beyond Technology PIC Field activities regarding budget, timing, and impact

  • Identifying and evaluating new potential business opportunities that lead to proposals for new Beyond Market Fields

  • Self-sufficient orchestration and coordination of stakeholders within the innovation ecosystem, especially with Senior Expert Team and Leadership Team regarding Beyond Technology Fields

  • Coordination of multiple strategic projects for identifying and detailing potential Beyond Market Fields

  • Independent preparation and presentation of decision materials (e.g., presentations) for significant investment and business projects for the Venture Board, Executive Board as well as, if necessary, the Supervisory Board

  • Supporting and directing the development of a European research cluster in the field of PIC together with German and European authorities, universities, and partners.






  • Ten or more years of experience in global organizations that emphasize technology or innovation.

  • In-depth experience in managing innovation teams and overseeing multifaceted projects as a project manager

  • Existing leadership experience with startups or venture activities

  • Business-oriented perspective

  • Outstanding analytical capabilities and creative thought

  • Understanding of lateral leadership in medium and large project

  • Strategic and exploratory insights and capabilities

  • Well-versed in networking and communication

  • Leadership that is supportive as well as transformative

  • An in-depth awareness of the essential competencies in the global PIC domain and the capacity to convert those competencies into measures for achieving a market-shaping role.
