You will execute and evolve our go-to-market strategy to maximize business growth. You are instrumental in developing and managing your team to generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational goals.Your ImpactLead a team of sales leaders and field sellers to drive revenue attainment while continuously building a robust pipeline, and landing new customer logosBuild a holistic sales execution plan focused on short-, mid- and long-term objectives to achieve sustainable growthDeeply understand Mittelstand customers’ needs by doing research and applying data to develop insight into their prioritiesBring support to your team by leading account plan reviews and supporting key customer meetings yourselfDeep dive into regular territory pipeline and forecasting activities to coach direct reports on strategies to drive closureLead from the front and actively engage in relationship building and opportunity development supporting your team in closing opportunitiesFoster a high-performance sales culture that delivers results in bookings, sales development, and forecast accuracy while simultaneously mentoring and developing your teamAbility to communicate with leaders at all levels, including C-suite and establish open and trusting relationshipsDevelop a winning team through targeted recruiting and training upholding our core valuesYour ExperienceExperience and knowledge of SaaS and cloud-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security contextExperience and network with channel and partner sales modelsProven ability to create diverse and high-performing teams in a rapidly growing sales environmentVisionary and experienced in motivating a team to the highest standards and performanceYear over year track record of successful sales pipeline building, associated pipeline management and conversionHighly driven with an execution focus, a strong sense of urgency and an entrepreneurial mindsetTrack record of consistently delivering revenue numbers and goals while maintaining a focus on team development and growthProven ability to demonstrate organizational agilityExcellent at influencing others, both externally and internally in a matrix environment; ability to communicate effectively and build consensus across various functional groups to achieve goalsBeing a great team player, building excellent rapport and collaboration with cross-functional teamsBeing a role model, embodying Palo Alto Networks' company valuesStrong communication and presentation skills in German and English (written and spoken)The TeamOur sales team members work hand-in-hand with large organizations around the world to keep their digital environments protected.
