Market Development Manager Process Industries (f/m/d)



  • Global sales responsibility for Process Industry
  • Lateral leadership of sales and service colleagues in subsidiaries within matrix organization
  • Strategy development and execution to enable sales teams to grow in focus applications/products/customers and increase market share
  • Management of global growth initiatives to replace competition
  • Evolution of value selling argumentation and training for sales team
  • Application and product training, consulting and support for sales teams, end-users and OEMs
  • Scouting of success stories from the regions and global multiplication
  • Strong collaboration with Application Engineering, Tribology, R&D, Product Management and Marketing to bring superior solutions to market



  • Completed engineering degree or commercial degree with strong technical background
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Process Industry
  • Ideally experience in Sales, Marketing, Key Account Management in an international environment
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization, ideally on local and global level
  • Ability to influence without formal authority
  • Excellent business English skills (written and verbal), additional languages preferred, ideally German
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (ca. > 25% of time)
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, willing to challenge the status quo
