Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced, and passionate, hands-on Director Product Analytics to help us tackle the most challenging tasks from the business and user side, improve processes and tools, and drive data excellence across the organization. As part of the PTU Leadership team, you will be directly reporting to the CTPO, and work closely with product management, senior management, and the full leadership circle to champion product analytics, data governance, and best practices that help develop and drive the team of analysts to enable the best data-based decisions in our product development to continuously deliver value. You will manage a team of 3-4 data analysts to consult, guide, support and collaborate with our 7 agile, cross-functional product domain teams as well as to provide expertise to the Marketing and Sales teams as needed. You will lead and mentor our data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment and ensure personal and professional growth. You and your team will work closely with the data engineering team and our technical platform team to create best practice technical and data analytics and reporting solutions which allow data-driven and insights-first approaches to product development and strategic discussions. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive product analytics strategy aligned with company goals. Implement best practices for data analysis, reporting, and visualization to ensure high-quality output. Champion a data-driven culture across the organization, advocating for the use of data in decision-making processes. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Provide professional development opportunities and support for team members to enhance their skills and careers. Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of product and user data to generate actionable insights. Work with product management to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance and user engagement. Partner with the Director of Product Management and other stakeholders to ensure data insights are effectively utilized in product strategy and development. Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure the availability and integrity of data necessary for analytics. Together with the data engineering team oversee the implementation and use of analytics tools, including Metabase and Tableau, to ensure they meet the needs of the organization. Streamline and improve processes for data requests and insights delivery to reduce waiting times and enhance efficiency. Oversee the design and analysis of A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate product changes and enhancements and ensure rigorous statistical analysis and interpretation of experimental results. Collaborate with User Experience Research to combine insights from qualitative and quantitative research approaches, forming a 360° full insight that allows us to understand the whys of the whats. Establish benchmarks for product performance against industry standards and competitors. Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science). Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior analytics role, preferably in a B2C or marketplace environment. Demonstrated experience leading and managing data analytics teams as well as excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python etc). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau and Metabase). Strong understanding of data infrastructure, data governance, and data engineering concepts. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Deep understanding of the dynamics of B2C marketplace models, user behaviors, and product lifecycles. Ability to align analytics initiatives with business goals and priorities.
