Job Title: Data Architect/Lead Job ID: 2023-11912 Job Location: Remote Employment Type: W2 Candidate Constraints: Duration: Long Term Work Eligibility: US Permanent Eligibility to Work Required Key Technology: Data Engineering, PBM Knowledge, JAVA, J2EE, Spring Boot Job Responsibilities: Design enterprise information architecture solutions in compliance with firm-wide data management principles and security controls. Analyze multiple data domains and define strategies to reduce data redundancy and improve data availability and accessibility. Act as SME for multiple data domains and serve as a single point of contact for data sources. Analyze data attributes from multiple systems and develop Common Information Models. Govern data decisions related to data model design, data access patterns, and data services. Maintain the end-to-end vision of the data flow diagram and develop logical data models into physical data repositories. Define and implement data access controls and monitoring. Work with project management and other architects to provide work estimates and ensure timely delivery of data solutions. Gather, document, and seek approval of business requirements from business users. Support data governance and data stewards; review data rules developed by stewards. Escalate data issues to governance as needed and seek resolution. Perform data analysis, create, and maintain data models, mapping documents, and data dictionaries as per the data architecture framework. Publish data dictionary. Liaise with development, DBA, and reporting teams; create deployment packages and support production installs and issues as directed. Define, test, implement, and optimize the data architecture framework. Skills and Experience Required: Minimum 10 years of work experience in data disciplines such as developing and implementing data frameworks, reference models, and data modeling. 7 or more years of hands-on working knowledge in one or more relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server (preferred), Teradata, etc. 3 or more years of hands-on working knowledge in No-SQL databases. PBM experience is required. Hands-on expertise in data modeling for operational, warehouse master data/reference data, and analytical reporting systems. Expertise in designing solutions for structured and unstructured data (JSON, XML) and working knowledge of data streaming platforms. Ability to understand APIs, entity models, and Swagger documentation. Ability to understand PBM hierarchy data modeling and claim adjudication processes. Strong data analysis capabilities and working knowledge of JAVA, J2EE, and Spring Boot. Capable of decomposing complex problems into modules and constructing tactical solutions with prescribed tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
