multiple locationsJob No. r00246546Full-timeJobbeschreibungWe are seeking a Trade Compliance Counsel with 5+ years of experience in trade compliance law, including sanctions, to join our team as a subject matter expert for the EMEA region. This key role will support Accenture’s commitment to maintaining compliance with international trade control regulations in the areas where we operate.Your MissionAs Trade Compliance Counsel for EMEA, you will play a vital role in helping our Legal team and business stakeholders understand and navigate trade and export control risks and compliance. You will advise on transactional trade compliance matters, including client contracts and trade-related reviews of company services. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training, awareness materials, and providing tools, templates, and guidance to ensure ongoing compliance across the region.Your daily workLead the implementation and maintenance of Accenture’s trade compliance program in EMEA, including training development, policy review, and communication planning with internal stakeholders.Collaborate with senior management and outside counsel to conduct risk assessments, recommend program improvements, and support the adoption of those recommendations.Develop and implement trade compliance and monitoring tools to help executives flag and mitigate trade-related risks.Provide practical advice on compliance with trade/export laws, Accenture’s Code of Business Ethics, and trade compliance policies to business and legal professionals.Work with legal colleagues and business teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate trade-related risks, and support internal audits, investigations, and government inquiries in EMEA.QualifikationenWho you are:University degree (Master or comparable level) – legal degree and an admitted lawyer.Strong expertise in international trade controls and global trade/export regulatory systems.Proven experience in developing compliance programs, policies, internal controls, training, and responding to government investigations.Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and translate complex legal analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.Experience advising multiple clients or industries, preferably in a legal private practice setting.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with fluency in English and German and the ability to work remotely with global clients.​What we offerTailored working time model with flexible working hoursWork where you’re needed – at one of Accenture’s locations or remotelyExtensive learning and development opportunitiesA diverse and inclusive work cultureExtensive support during parental leaveLife at AccentureIn this role, you’ll be part of Accenture Corporate Functions.
