About the JobWe’re looking for an experienced Lead Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) to join an innovative startup that’s harnessing cutting-edge AI technology to transform regulatory workflows in order to foster speed and innovation in the Life Sciences industry. In your day-to-day work, you’ll leverage your knowledge in Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or Regulatory Compliance. You’ll own a large part of our ML services and complete a team of 3 highly-skilled ML Engineers. In this role, you’ll:Develop the core data pipelines & ML servicesOwn ML-based features end-to-end, from the first prototype to the final deliveryBalance high-quality & performant code while shipping quicklyContribute to product strategy and roadmap planningDrive technical decisions across our ML stackBonus points for experience with:Document-based data pipelinesNatural Language ProcessingWeb scrapingStartups, especially in founding rolesThe life sciences or regulatory compliance sectorsYour ProfileExperienced in ML engineering, with strong data science & python skillsProven track record of shipping ML-based products in a fast-paced environment, ideally from the earliest stagesAbility to ship quickly, and break down complex problems into small & modular solutionsExceptional problem-solving abilities & communication skillsPassion for our portfolio company’s mission and excitement about revolutionizing an old-school industry with AIPlease note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company.
