The BIRKENSTOCK Group is headquartered in Linz am Rhein and maintains several locations in Germany, as well as sales offices in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.For our division Product Creation ,at our location in Cologne we are looking for aCosting Manager (m/f/d)YOUR SHOES TO FILL:As the interface between product and controlling lead, monitor and steer product costing according to targets within the seasonal collection scope and totally new productsEstablish and development precise tools to track, manage and execute product costing from initial pre-costing, costing in the development stage and final costing towards seasonal range finalization and handover to production Consult and advise the Design and Development Team along the product seasonal briefing, ideation and development process on target costings and component/material selection towards an efficient Constantly drive cost efficiency of products which are being implemented into production by the Product Engineering Team and also of product which are already in bulk production Establish and innovate new methods, technologies and processes in the production to frequently optimize product costing in the production YOUR WALK OF LIFE:Many years of professional experience in various technical product related positions in footwear or sporting goods industry which included mold making, production technologies and materialFootwear Engineering and Development Background is an advantage Expertise in Project Management and ProcessesExcellent communicator with outstanding presentation and moderation skills and the ability to translate complex topics into effective communication decksStrategic mind, hands-on pragmatist, confident in decision-making and executionFluent in English and/or German is a plusReady to travel internationallyWE OFFER:BIRKENSTOCK offers you all the advantages of a successful, fast growing, global company: dynamic work environment, considerable design freedom, authentic and open corporate culture and excellent development opportunities.
