- Ensuring and developing a fully functional accounting and financial function in line with our growth strategy, including developing processes, systems, automation, reporting tools, internal control and organization
- Responsibility for accounting local statutory reporting requirements, budgeting, compliance with taxes / VAT, reporting to the headquarters in China and coordinating and ensuring efficient local audits based on the Group's internal timeline
- Supporting local management and the headquarters in all areas of reporting on business activities in subsidiary company including transactions, acquisitions, business cases, etc
- Supporting employees and managers in questions about finance, accounting, reporting, taxes and VAT
- The continuous development and optimization of internal control procedures and business processes
- The pro-active departmental and cross-functional collaboration with business partners, external financial service providers, including accountants, banks, insurers and other partners Ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines and major updates
- University degree / MSc in finance, economics, business administration, accounting or similar
- Experienced financial manager with at least seven years of professional experience
- Familiar with both local and group reporting (especially IFRS)
- Experience in working with most or all of corporate accounting, reporting, tax and compliance processes, with a particular passion for financial reporting
- We expect experience with Microsoft 365, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience in the B2C industry is preferred
- Business fluent in German and Chinese
